We Know What's Coming to the Corner of 38th & Lee Blvd in Lawton

If you've been on West Lee Blvd. lately you've probably seen all the construction going on near the corner of 38th Street and Lee Blvd across from the Walmart Neighborhood Market. We went by there this afternoon to check it out and see what was going on. Construction crews are doing dirt work and preparing to build on the new site. They're making progress and very soon we'll start to see actual buildings and parking lots.

It's a large lot and there's tons of space so what exactly is going in there? While we might not know all the details or the specifics of all the businesses that are coming to town, we do know that Taco Bell will be building an all-new restaurant at the location. That's right Lawton, Fort SIll is getting a new Taco Bell!

We've been hearing rumors for months now about a new Taco Bell that's coming to Lawton, Fort Sill. We've also heard that it would be a part of the construction project on the corner of 38th and Lee Blvd. Well, we finally have confirmation that the rumors were true! There's no official word yet as to when they expect to have it completed and opened. Hopefully, it'll be sometime this year, maybe as soon as Fall/Winter2022.

Having more options and places to eat out in Lawton, Fort Sill is a good thing, not to mention the job opportunities this will bring to the community. It's a win-win for sure. It'll also be interesting to see what design they choose for the new Taco Bell building/restaurant. Will it be a two-story like the newest Taco Bells up North or a single-story? Either way it'll be nice to have another Taco Bell in town.

Taco Bell will be the first new business to build on the empty lot at the corner of 38th Street and Lee Blvd. As big as the lot is I'm sure more and more businesses will start filling in and opening up as time goes by. They certainly have the space for it and there's no telling what other businesses are considering building there once Taco Bell takes root. It's like anything else, someone has to go first then everyone else follows.

It's exciting to see the land being developed and the potential for more businesses to move and open in Lawton, Fort Sill. We'll keep you up to date with the progress and pass along any new details we may get. I'm sure the rumor mill will start back up and people will start speculating what other businesses are going to build there.
