The Chick-fil-A on Cache Road in Lawton, OK. just bought a new food truck and will be visiting small towns and communities in the Sooner State this Summer. That's right, if you live in an area that doesn't have a Chick-fil-A nearby it'll be coming to you, how convenient! So be on the lookout for the Chick-fil-A food truck.

We got the invite to take a sneak peek of the new Chick-fil-A food truck inside and out by owner/manager Jonathan Pickett earlier this morning. To say that it's state-of-the-art is putting it mildly, this thing is in a league all its own. It has everything needed to cook and serve all your favorite Chick-fil-A menu items.

Before we got the grand tour Jonathan gave us all the details on the new food truck and its mission. In the past, Lawton's Chick-fil-A on Cache Road used a travel trailer with food warmers to bring Chick-fil-A to all the smaller communities and towns near Lawton, Fort Sill. Unfortunately, they weren't able to do waffle fries and other menu items like nuggets due to not having all the required equipment. Well, all that has changed now!

Unlike the trailer, the food truck has all the equipment, it's basically a rolling full kitchen! You'll be able to order and have your food prepared fast and fresh. The new Chick-fil-A food truck is only one of 26 in the entire company or chain and will be operating out of Lawton, Fort Sill. How cool is that? So where will it be heading and where can you catch the truck? They'll be posting a schedule on the official Chick-fil-A site.

Big & beautiful. The Chick-fil-A food truck is officially on the road in Oklahoma!

Like in the past Chick-fil-A will be visiting places like Anadarko, Duncan, Marlow, and Elgin. They also plan to start going to Chickasha, Geronimo, Cache, and other places too! They hit the road this morning on their maiden voyage to test everything out and will officially start full-time operations later this month on (06-13-22). The food truck will be on the road 6 days a week at various locations throughout S.W. Oklahoma.

Once everything is up and running you'll be able to track where it will be and you'll even be able to submit a request to have the Chick-fil-A food truck come to your town or event! All you'll have to do is submit a request on their official website, check it out here. So if you're town is having a community event or special occasion you can request the Chick-fil-A food truck. It's even available for private events and parties!

And yes we already asked, the Chick-fil-A food truck will also be a part of Lawton, Fort Sill events, and annual holiday festivals. Its primary mission however will be to take Chick-fil-A to all the smaller towns, cities, and communities around S.W. Oklahoma. Since we have an actual Chick-fil-A restaurant here that features dine-in, drive-thru, pick up, and delivery they'll be going to places that aren't so lucky. That makes sense.

I did try to convince Jonathan to drive it through local neighborhoods like the ice cream man. Hey, it could happen! Can you imagine a whole fleet of Chick-fil-A food trucks rolling through residential areas? You could just run out and grab your lunch or dinner when you heard them coming down the street. Yes of course they would have to play music like the ice cream man so we'd know when they were getting closer to our block.
