In a case of mixed up seasons, SWOK experienced some serious Spring weather a month into Fall. While the weather services warned that we could see some severe weather, I don't think anyone thought we would get baseball size hail and several tornadoes. It was definitely one for the record books.

The cold front that moved in left a trail of damage from the rural areas around Cache up through Medicine Park, Apache, Chickasha, Norman, and beyond. Eventually, these smaller severe storms finally aligned late in the evening to form a line of heavy rain and lightning reported to be nearly 1300 miles long. Looking forward, I think we're all looking forward to the cooler weather in our forecast.
