What Are They Building in Downtown Lawton?

Not too sure what it will be but they're building something in downtown Lawton, Fort Sill. The construction site is right behind City Hall near the corner of 8th Street and B Avenue. If you've been in the area you've probably seen all the heavy equipment and dirt work that's been going on. Any day now they'll wrap that up and start pouring the foundation, then begin framing whatever it will be. We're all wondering what's coming.

It could be something the City of Lawton is building itself. Maybe expanding the offices for City Hall, or possibly a private company or business. Judging from the size of the property, more than likely it will be some sort of office.

While it appears to be an extension of Lawton City Hall, or office space there's still a chance it could be retail or even a restaurant. I guess we'll have to wait and see. It would be epic if it were some kind of restaurant, we don't really have a lot of them here in downtown Lawton. Personally, I'm hoping it's a Taco Casa! How awesome would that be? I would spend most, if not all of the workday there and then some that's for sure!
