Chick-fil-A Is Giving Away Free Food Next Week
In a time in America when nothing is free and everything costs way too dang much, Chick-fil-A is about to start giving away free food for a few weeks.
It's all part of the release of their new Code Moo game.
Why is Chick-fil-A releasing a game?
This one caught a lot of people off guard, but it's not new. Code Moo was released last summer and gave fil-A-fans similar rewards for engaging in the app.
Aside from providing entertainment, the game assigns tasks inside the app for you to do, and the angle Chick-fil-A is sticking with is that it's supposed to be more family-friendly entertainment that complements their family-friendly Chick-fil-A Play streaming platform.
From the official website, Code Moo is a game platform meant to extend Chick-fil-A's family-friendly atmosphere well beyond being inside the restaurant.
You play, you get rewards, and the rewards are free food... at least throughout the promo period, July 15th through August 4th.
OK, but again, why?
I know it may seem a bit sinister in this world of ulterior motives and cynicism, but it's probably just nothing more than a fun way to keep Chick-fil-A in your mind.
What's for dinner? Well, I was just on the Chick-fil-A app...
Could it really be that simple? Chick-fil-A has long been ultra-specific about family values, from the staff up through the corporate chain, so why would there be anything surprising beyond providing a little fun while they aim to sell more chicken?
Bonus, free Chick-fil-A.
