If you haven't been to JD's Hideaway in Lawton yet, you definitely need to check it out. It's a great place to eat, hang out and even throw axes! Yesterday (09-15-21) the boss took us there for an office luncheon, which quickly turned into an office party. I can neither confirm nor deny the consumption of adult beverages and general all around horseplay that may, or may not have occurred while in attendance. It was awesome!

The place is huge. It's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside that's for sure. There's room to roam and pretty much every wall has a big screen TV which makes it a great place to catch the game as well. The entire staff are incredible and the food is amazing. Everyone ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their meal. The table was full with various orders: Hamburgers, Flatbread Pizza, Sandwiches, Gyros, Wings and appetizers galore! Speaking of appetizers you have to try the Loaded Wood Chips!

JD's Hideaway in Lawton, OK. at 2705 N.W. Sheridan Road.

The menu at JD's Hideaway really does have something for everyone. Not only do they have good eats, they have a huge selection of beers both on tap and bottle. Plus wine, spirits, cocktails and all other types of mixed drinks. JD's has two bars inside and a third bar on their patio. As if all the food and drinks weren't enough what really separates JD's from everyone else is the axe throwing lanes and all other games and entertainment they offer. There's everything from pool, video games, foosball to air hockey and more.

After our lunch it was time for a little team building exercise. What better way to do that than throwing axes with your co-workers! After a quick safety run down and some axe throwing 101 instruction we took to the lanes. It took a few practice throws, but after awhile we all got the hang of it and even managed a few bullseyes. Well, some of us did anyway. It was a ton of fun and I'm already planning my return trip with friends and family for a dinner and game night at JD's Hideaway.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
