New Stores Opening at Lawton Marketplace

There are several new stores that will be opening soon on the west side at Lawton Marketplace. If you've been by there lately you've probably seen all the opening soon signs and construction that's been going on.

THE LAWTON MARKETPLACE WILL SOON BE HOME TO SEVERAL NEW RETAILERS

The new Bath & Body Works is now open. This will be the second location for Lawton. Initially, people thought that they were closing their store at the Central Plaza but that location will remain open as well.

Another new store that will be opening soon at Lawton Marketplace is The Buckle which is right next door to the new Bath & Body Works. We're also hearing Old Navy in the Central Plaza will be moving there as well.

THE BUCKLE, OLD NAVY & BURLINGTON ARE ALL COMING TO LAWTON MARKETPLACE

So both The Buckle and Old Navy will be at the Lawton Marketplace on the west side. One of the biggest retailers coming to the location is Burlington. They're busy working on it now and hope to open this winter.

MAYBE BY THE HOLIDAY SEASON THIS YEAR THE NEW STORES WILL BE OPEN

If you've driven around town you've probably seen all the murals we have in Lawton, Fort Sill. If you take the time to look you'll notice that they're everywhere. We're lucky to have so many talented artists that share their work with us regularly by painting murals. One name you've probably heard before is Justin Hackney and Spreading PAINT. His work of masterful murals can be found all over town. He's done some of the very best and has painted everything from rock stars to celebrities and everything in between. He has a style all his own and has painted murals in full color, vivid transposed negative style, and in black and white. Be on the lookout for his latest mural masterpiece he's going to keep painting them so long as people want them and there's wall space. Looking forward to seeing his next one!
