I have always had a crafty side.  I like to make things with my hands, and I am constantly coming up with things that I can share with my co-workers!

Lawton Public Library has got both my need for crafts and an evening out with co-workers covered this Wednesday (July 7th, 2021) from 6:00 - 7:30pm.  It's for adults only, so you mush be over 16 to attend.

There is no registration fee, it happens in person (which is such a change from just a few months ago) & No Kids.  Just fun crafts, good snacks and great company!  Of course, space will be limited but, this sounds like so much fun!  You'll be making a galazy jar!

Another Wednesday event for kids Zero to 10 years and caregivers will have Storytime & Games at Elmer Thomas Park from 10:00 - 11:00 at the Patriot Pavilion.  How fun to be able to get out and enjoy the fresh air (before it gets too hot outside) and hear a children's story and play games.  I honestly wish there were fun things like this when I was growing up!  Well, there kinda were.  My grandmother was the one who instilled in me the love or reading and the love of making things too!  One of the first books that she read aloud to us was 'Huckleberry Finn' by Mark Twain.  I'll never forget being so anxious for the next chapter.
