The 99th Annual Easter Pageant "Prince of Peace" returns to the Holy City of the Wichitas on Saturday, March 23, and Saturday, March 31st (03-23-24 & 03-31-24).

It's the longest-running Easter pageant "Passion Play" in the U.S. and it's right here in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge just minutes away from Lawton, Fort Sill.

I've known about the pageant for a long time, my 93-year-old grandma always talks about wanting to see it, but I had no idea it's been going on now for 99 years and counting.

Reviews say it's an amazing and unforgettable experience.

It's been a while, but I love going out to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge and the Holy City. If you've never been now would be the best time to visit.

The Holy City is not only home to the Nation's longest-running Easter Pageant it also contains a very popular wedding site, the World Chapel.

It's a great place to visit with tons of history and unique features like all the buildings that look ancient and biblical. It's like stepping back in time.

If you want more information about the Holy City of the Wichitas, the Easter Pageant, and/or how to volunteer to be part of this year's festivities, visit the official Facebook page for all the details.
