If you feel a little scratch in your throat or mind-numbing pressure in your forehead, you're not alone. Oklahoma is experiencing some of the highest spring allergy numbers in the nation.

As certain as death and taxes, Oklahoma is often smack-dab in the middle of the allergen map every spring and again in the fall.

At the moment, it's the trees making everyone feel so horrible. Particularly oak, ash, and poplar trees doing their thing to make more trees.

Yesterday, our region scored 11.3 out of a possible 12 for the severity of allergies. Today it's 11.2, and tomorrow it's predicted to provide a slight reprieve to 10.7.

If you're suffering, I sure feel for you. I'm lucky enough to only get miserable in the fall.

Take whatever meds work best for you and try to stay indoors until the heat turns on. While we hate the triple-digit temperatures, it sure does put a quash on allergies.
