
Oklahoma’s Tornado Forecast Ramping Up Ending April
Aside from the million Boys From Oklahoma concert posts online, meteorologists across social media are making bold predictions for the Sooner State weather-wise.
The end of April and the first few weeks of May are peak tornado season, and it appears that is the forecast looking ahead for 2025.
Oklahoma, along with the whole Southern US is already above average for tornadoes so far this season, so there's no telling what will transpire.

It appears the shockingly mild spring is about to make a turn towards being warmer. Enjoy the next few days with a little soaker event in the middle of the week before widespread storms hit by the weekend.
While half of Oklahoma is in desperate need of rain, this week is going to be a wild one in its own right.
Rain on Wednesday, maybe, but no real chance of firing up the severe stuff that they can predict.
By the weekend, they're skipping over the threat of tornadoes, talking about June-type storms which generally means lots of downpours and plenty of big hail.

This immediate forecast isn't the one meteorologists are worried about. Sure, there's a little rain and some storms now through the weekend, but it's what comes after. Every meteorologist is saying the same thing.
Tornado weather is going to ramp up significantly across a swath that encompasses pretty much all of Oklahoma in the most traditional sense of "Tornado Alley" they've seen in years.
