Slim Chickens in Lawton is Now Open
We have a new place to eat in Lawton, Fort Sill. The all new Slim Chickens is officially open! The new restaurant is located near the corner of 67th Street and Cache Road at 6731 N.W. Cache Road. It's in between Toy Chiropractic Clinic and J&S Dry Cleaning and Laundry on N.W. Cache Road. Maybe you've already stopped by there, if so what did you think? I'm looking forward to going this weekend and giving it a try.
Slim Chickens in Lawton Will be Opening Soon!
Slim Chickens in Lawton Will be Opening Soon!
Back in March we shared the news, at that time maybe it was a rumor, that Slim Chickens was coming to Lawton, Fort Sill. Well, it's true and I'm sure you've seen all the construction taking place near the intersection of 67th Street and Cache Road. Despite the pandemic and everything else that's been going on lately they've been busy working to get it built and opened. It's actually impressive at just how quickly they've been able to get it all put together. We're not 100% sure exactly when the Slim Chickens in Lawton will open, but it will be very soon!
JD’s Hideaway is Coming to Lawton, Fort Sill!
JD’s Hideaway is Coming to Lawton, Fort Sill!
Looks like Lawton, Fort Sill is getting an new restaurant, but it's a lot more than that. Get ready for JD's Hideaway, a really unique place to eat that features axe throwing lanes, billiards, an HD golf simulator and video games! If the name sounds kind of familiar that's because they have an Altus, OK. location. I've heard about it, but I've never had the opportunity to eat there. Well, Lawton will be getting it's very own JD's Hideaway soon! It'll be located at 2705 N.W. Sheridan Road in the old Kimchi Korean BBQ building.
EzGo on Gore is Now Open!
EzGo on Gore is Now Open!
The brand new EzGo is open at 2620 West Gore Blvd. We ran by yesterday and grabbed some hotdogs and other snacks for lunch. They have the best hotdogs and sausages around. I'm a HUGE fan of their Cheddarwurst and Pepperjack sausage. They all kinds of stuff and it's the perfect quick stop for a bit to eat and to fill up.
