A Midland, Texas police officer is lucky to be alive after his cruiser is struck by a train! If he had crossed the tracks a second or two later this story would have a much different ending. It clearly shows the importance of waiting until the cross guards are fully up and the lights stop flashing. The officer didn't see the second train coming from the other direction. Be careful out there and watch the railroad crossing!
