The English Couldn’t Survive Summer in Oklahoma
The last few weeks have been a little contrived between Great Britain and America. First it was the whole "UK Police will extradite and arrest Americans if they post harmful thoughts online..." as if their whole island wouldn't be speaking German if it wasn't for America - and things have escalated to a beef over the weather.

For the record, 20° Celsius is roughly 68° Fahrenheit.
Naturally, things look a certain way from our collective experiences, but there has to be a little common ground too, right?
We used to have this British engineer who loved to talk about how hot the weather was in England vs SW Texoma. Granted, the air temperature doesn't have to be that hot if the humidity is up there.
I briefly lived outside of Corpus Christi, Texas for a bit and experienced a 118° actual air temperature... It wasn't nearly as hot as the 86° afternoon on the humid beaches of Puerto Rico.
It's all relative.
I'm sure it's all about what you're accustomed to. If you grew up in Colorado, you would melt on a summer day in Texoma... but if you left home sweet SWOK and hit the mountains for a bit, I'm sure you'd freeze on a cool summer night.
Still, it's sort of funny how Brits consider their mild weather to be so brutal, and it's not just the lack of air conditioning that separates us. My 94-year-old grandma still lives in her SWOK house without air conditioning. No complaints from her even on the hottest days.
