After all the cancellations last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic it's great to see so many of our favorite Fall family events return to Lawton, Fort Sill. Last Halloween was practically non-existent as most, if not all of the usual things we do and traditions we enjoy didn't happen. I felt bad for all the kids, even adults who love Halloween but couldn't really celebrate it. At least not like we're used to. Well, this year will be different!

You're invited to the City of Lawton's "Halloween Spooktacular" coming up Friday, October 29th (10-29-21) featuring all kinds of frightfully fun activities for the entire family. It's going to be an outdoor event that will have games, prizes, candy, food trucks, vendors, and more! Everyone is welcome and it's FREE to attend.

The City of Lawton's Halloween Spooktacular will be held at the Owen's Recreation Center located at 1405 SW 11th Street from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on (10-29-21). It's presented by the City of Lawton Parks and Recreation Department. For more information about the event visit www.teamsideline.com or call 1-(580)-581-3400. It's FREE and open to the public. It's going to be a good time and I'm sure more and more events will be announced soon. If you missed it earlier The City of Lawton just announced the "Trick or Treating" hours for 2021. Halloween falls on a Sunday this year so the City of Lawton will be observing "All Hallow's Eve" the day before on Saturday, October 30th (10-30-21) from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Hope you have a happy and safe Halloween!
