Sadly the Central Plaza is quickly becoming a ghost town. There are more empty retail spaces than stores, or at least it would appear that way. It's starting to look like a post-apocalyptic zombie Hollywood movie set.
Just recently Champs and Footlocker closed their doors permanently at the Central Plaza adding to the empty spaces and echo chamber that was once a thriving mall. Pretty soon there won't be any stores left.

To further rub salt into the wound it's rumored that Old Navy will soon relocate to the west side and open in a new location at the Lawton Marketplace next to Target and Academy. Zales is also rumored to be closing.
The good news is there are some new businesses and stores that are coming to Central Plaza. We're hearing about some clothing, footwear, and other retailers that could be opening sometime in the very near future.
Keep in mind a lot of this isn't confirmed, just rumors. However, it has been confirmed that a new restaurant called La Grand Cantina will be opening in the old White Buffalo location at Central Plaza, get details here.
