No shocker here, the weather is really unpredictable in the Sooner State, and the forecasts are generally unreliable. Just last Monday most of Oklahoma was set for rain the last few days now, and snow and ice by early next week.

That's not happening, probably, but the snow and ice have simply been moved off a few days.

Here's the short outlook of First Spring.

Lovely temperatures over the weekend and into next week, but you can see the cooling trend by Thursday.

While the National Weather Service rarely offers a glimpse beyond seven days, other weather apps are predicting another Arctic plunge into the Heartland. A mix of below-freezing overnight lows with close-to-freezing daily highs into the week of February 9th.

So far, it's icing overnight, but generally melting to safe travels during the day. Repeat the next night and so on...

Even OKC's Mike Morgan is hinting at what could be a larger weather event. Not sure how accurate it may prove to be, but we're all hearing the whispers about it now.
