Have you ever heard of the Grisso Mansion in Seminole, Oklahoma before? If you're into the paranormal and have been in the state a while, you've probably heard a thing or two about this place. It has a long and very active history of hauntings. The mansion was originally built back in 1928 by William Edward "Doc" Grisso.

William Edward "Doc" Grisso came from Arkansas to Oklahoma, he was a pharmacist by trade and had a drug store in town, the Seminole Drug Company, and also served as the town's medical examiner. He eventually made his fortune with the oil boom and was one of the wealthiest men in Oklahoma, maybe even the country.

He managed to acquire massive amounts of land and mineral rights in Seminole during the oil boom and operated the second-largest refinery in the Nation. This is where the story starts to sour and turn dark. A lot of people say Mr. Grisso acquired his lands and minerals rights through very questionable if not dishonest means. Most say he stole them from locals and even married into land rights. Some say he was a murderer!

After making his fortune he built the mansion for his wife Margaret "Maggie" Grisso. At some point, he remarried, not too sure what happened to his first wife but he married a young Seminole girl named Suda.

She died within months of their marriage of suspicious causes but with Grisso being the town's medical examiner nothing ever came of it, so did he get away with murder? A lot of the townspeople thought he poisoned Suda to take all the land and mineral rights so he wouldn't have to share any of his fortunes.

Paranormal investigators and ghost hunters have frequented the mansion over the years and report the presence of a female ghost, most say it's Suda. There's also the spirit of a little boy that haunts the property named Micco. During construction, the body of a 6-year-old boy was found where the ballroom is currently located. Investigators have reported seeing ghosts and communicating with them using EVP devices.
