The World Famous “Show Dog” is Back at Liberty Theatre in Carnegie, OK.
They're back! The world-famous "Show Dogs" at Liberty Theatre in Carnegie, OK. have made their triumphant and magnificent return. I'm a little late in getting the good news having just found out yesterday. I was talking with a friend about them and he told me they were back so I looked into it and sure enough, he was right! Somehow I missed it, they re-opened the theatre and started serving "Show Dogs" again back in November.
This means I could have been eating "Show Dogs" months ago. Oh well, at least I know now and will be planning a trip to Carnegie sometime soon to catch a movie and grab a bite to eat. If you've never been you're missing out, Liberty Theatre in Carnegie is legendary! It's a great movie theatre, but it's probably best known for its amazing hotdogs, which they lovingly call "Show Dogs." You have to try them, they're delicious!
Liberty Theatre in Carnegie is the oldest and longest-running operational movie theater in all of Oklahoma. It has a long and rich history that continues to this day. It features 3 screens showing all the latest and greatest movies. You can click here to see what's showing and get all the showtimes. I'm thinking of making the trip to Carnegie to see the new Batman movie. It's not only a great place to see a movie they also have some of the best concessions around. Their popcorn, drinks, candies, and of course "Show Dogs" are all top-notch.
The Liberty Theatre also features lower ticket prices when compared to other theatres. That makes it a lot more affordable to take the family to the movies and you can even get dinner while you're there. It's only a short 45 minutes away from Lawton, Fort Sill, and the drive is a scenic and relaxing one. Depending on which route you decide to take to get there. I've missed going and look forward to my next road trip to Carnegie.
They were closed temporarily due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but have officially re-opened! It feels like it's been forever since I've been and had a "Show Dog." Every time we wanted to go or were in the area we'd stop by and sadly it was closed. Somehow I missed the news of them re-opening back in November of 2021. You can bet I'll be making up for lost time and attempting to eat my weight in "Show Dogs" when I get there...
