Now this is a really cool idea and one I would have never thought of. There's a dog park that's also a restaurant and pub in Oklahoma City called Solo's Park & Pub. It's located at 13310 Pawnee Drive in OKC so it's just a short trip down I-44 and about an hour or so away from Lawton, Fort Sill.

It's the perfect place to take the entire family, including the dog! Solo's Park & Pub has a one acre off leash dog park so your four legged friend or friends will have plenty of room to run, play and be with other dogs.

It's not an empty field, there's all kinds of playground equipment and  structures built just for dogs. They also have a DIY dog bath station, or you can have one of their staff give Fido a quick bath if you'd like.

The entire place is dog friendly and set up for dog lovers. There's picnic tables everywhere and an indoor patio area that serves up some amazing looking food and beverages. They have hamburgers, sandwiches, hotdogs, salads and all kinds of appetizers and treats. Click here to check out their menu. As if that wasn't enough Solo's Park & Pub serves specialty mixed drinks, beer, wine and other beverages. Check it out here.

If you're interested in taking a quick trip to OKC to visit Solo's Park & Pub with your dog you can get all the details and information here. You'll need to make sure your dog is fully vaccinated and that they play well with others, both dogs and people. I'm looking forward to taking the dogs on a mini family vacation!
