We recently tossed out some of the best hole-in-the-wall, greasy-spoon restaurants travelers could find in Southwest Oklahoma, and the comment section lit up with hot takes.

Some people were curious how eateries in Northeast Oklahoma somehow didn't end up on the Southwest Oklahoma list... Others released their inner-Karen's confusing mom & pop businesses for national chains.

It's true, there were more comments than I expected talking about dirty restaurants, roaches, etc... but here's a secret your favorite restaurant doesn't want you to know... Every restaurant has roaches. Every. Single. One. It's the nature of having food around 24/7. Since you can't escape those pests, you might as well eat good while you're at it.
